outplacement

Outplacement – with room for a new direction

Doubt is a good place to start.

When a company has to say goodbye to an employee, it’s not only an employment relationship that ends. It can also be the beginning of something new.

For some, the next step is a similar job. For others, being let go is a reason to consider whether it’s time to change industry, role or professional direction.

I offer outplacement programmes for companies that want to help departing employees move forward well, with a special focus on those considering a career change.

A proper ending – for both sides

An outplacement programme gives your employee professional and personal support to move on. It also shows that you take responsibility for ending the employment relationship with respect.

Programmes are individual and confidential, and they are tailored to the employee’s situation and the company’s needs.

More than help finding the next job

A career change takes more than an updated CV. It takes the courage to sit with doubt, an understanding of what you can do, and openness to the opportunities that actually exist.

Each programme is tailored to the individual employee, and we work with:

  • Clarity and direction – what motivates the employee, and what should their working life include from here?

  • Skills and opportunities – how can their experience and strengths be put to use in new roles or industries?

  • The job market – which options are realistic, and what does it take to pursue them?

  • Job search and positioning – CV, LinkedIn, networking, applications and interviews.

  • The human side – doubt, identity and uncertainty as a natural part of change.

The goal is not just to find the next job, but to build the foundation for a well-considered and realistic choice.

Insight from both sides of the table

Alongside my work in career advising, I work in recruitment. I know hiring processes from the inside and understand how employers assess candidates.

That perspective is especially valuable for employees who need to make their experience relevant in a new industry or role.

I have also changed careers myself, from law to recruitment, coaching and writing. I know what it means to leave an established professional path and create a new one.

Sessions in Danish or English – online.
