career change
When you sense it’s time for something new
Perhaps you’ve been in the same field for years and find yourself wondering whether this is really it. Perhaps you know you want something different, but not what. Or maybe you have an idea but aren’t quite ready to take the leap.
Wherever you are, you don’t have to figure it out alone.
I’ve changed course myself
I started out in law and later moved into recruitment, career advising and writing. Along the way, I took a big detour: 53,000 kilometres alone on a motorcycle through South and North America. I don’t regret a single one of them – I learned so much. But you don’t have to sell everything you own and travel to the other end of the world to find your direction.
I know what it feels like to stand at a crossroads – the doubt, the frustration and at times the despair of not knowing what to do next. And the courage and the joy when the pieces fall into place. From my work in recruitment, I also know how employers view candidates who change direction.
Let's talk
A no-obligation conversation about career change.
How we work
We start with you, not with job ads. What gives you energy? What are you good at – including the things you take for granted? What values should your next working life be built on? From there, we find a direction that is truly yours and turn it into concrete next steps.
A programme might include:
getting clear on what you actually want
putting your strengths and experience into words so they make sense in a new context
exploring new fields, roles or industries realistically
CV, applications and networking when you’re ready to apply
handling doubt and uncertainty along the way
